Pat Courington

Pat Courington (born 1941) began his career in radio cleaning and sweeping floors. At age 16 he went on the air before entering the sales field at age of 18 years. He was also a charter member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was the first inductee into the Albertville High School Hall of Honor. After receiving a BA Degree in Business Administration from Birmingham Southern College, Pat served two years active duty in the Army. In additional to broadcasting and publishing, he is a licensed real estate instructor and a Certified Residential Specialist and Broker and was a charter member of Real Estate Leaders of America, Inc.

Pat is the owner of WAVU-AM, WQSB-FM and WKXX-FM. He is also in the banking industry, small business loan industry and the data services industry. Pat is married to the former Jeannie Frasier who was former COO of AL-BO Travel and serves on the Albertville City Council. Pat has two daughters Chella Anne and Ashley. He is a member of Albertville First United Methodist Church and has served as Chairman of the Administrative Board Member, Junior High and Senior Youth Counselor, Chairman of Board of Trustees, Pastor-Parish Relations Committee and Building Committee.
