Should you have any technical problems receiving the required stations <a href=\"mailto:lwilkins@al-ba.com\">contact the ABA EAS coordinator Larry Wilkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Communications Commission requires all participants to monitor two (2) sources. In Alabama those sources are as follows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitor Source #1 Alabama Public Television Network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants should monitor the nearest APT transmitter:<\/p>\n<p>Huntsville area WHIQ-TV channel 24<br \/>\nFlorence area WFIQ-TV channel 22<br \/>\nMt Cheaha area WCIQ-TV channel 7<br \/>\nBirmingham area WBIQ-TV channel 10<br \/>\nDemopolis area WIIQ-TV channel 19<br \/>\nMontgomery area WAIQ-TV channel 27<br \/>\nAndalusia area WDIQ-TV channel 10<br \/>\nMobile area WEIQ-TV channel 42<br \/>\nDothan area WGIQ-TV channel 44<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitor Source #2 Global Security System Satellite Net<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Stations highlighted in <span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">red<\/span> are public radio stations that monitor the FEMA channel from<br \/>\nNPR. If you are able to receive one of these stations in your area, use it as your primary source.)<\/p>\n<p>Participants should monitor at least one of the following stations in your area:<\/p>\n<p>North East Counties<br \/>\nWZYP-FM Athens 104.3<br \/>\nWDRM-FM Decatur 102.1<br \/>\nWKEA-FM Scottsboro 98.3<\/p>\n<p>North West Counties<br \/>\nWQLT-FM Florence 107.3<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WQPR-FM<\/span> Muscle Shoals 88.7<\/p>\n<p>North Central Counties<br \/>\nWZZK-FM Birmingham 104.7<br \/>\nWJOX-FM Birmingham 94.5<\/p>\n<p>North Central East Counties<br \/>\nWVOK-FM Oxford 97.9<br \/>\nWQSB-FM Albertville 105.1<\/p>\n<p>West Central Counties<br \/>\nWTXT-FM Fayette 98.1<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WUAL-FM<\/span> Tuscaloosa 91.5<\/p>\n<p>South Central Counties<br \/>\nWLWI-FM Montgomery 92.3<br \/>\nWBAM-FM Montgomery 98.9<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WTSU-FM<\/span> Montgomery 89.9<\/p>\n<p>South Central East Counties<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WTJB-FM<\/span> Phenix City 91.7<br \/>\nWELR-FM Roanoke 102.3<\/p>\n<p>South Central West Counties<br \/>\nWINL-FM Linden 98.5<br \/>\nWALX-FM Orrville 100.9<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WAPR-FM<\/span> Selma 88.3<\/p>\n<p>South East counties<br \/>\nWOOF-FM Dothan 99.7<br \/>\nWKMX-FM Enterprise 106.7<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WRWA-FM<\/span> Dothan 88.7<\/p>\n<p>South West counties<br \/>\nWDLT-FM Saraland 104.1<br \/>\nWABD-FM Mobile 97.5<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc3366;\">WHIL-FM<\/span> Mobile 91.3<br \/>\nWZEW-FM Fairhope 92.1<br \/>\nWMFC-FM Monroeville 99.3<br \/>\nWLVM-FM Chickasaw 98.3<\/p>\n<p>Present rules required that all participants receive and log the reception of the Required Weekly Test (RWT) from both sources. Stations should also log the reception of RWT sent by the IPAWS CAP server.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are also required to receive and relay the Required Monthly Test (RMT) from one of the sources.
