SummitMedia LLC Birmingham is seeking a Collector for their Birmingham Office.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\u2022Responsible for timely collection of customer debt.
\n\u2022Recommends accounts to be turned over for collections and coordinates collection efforts with the appropriate agencies.
\n\u2022Reviews credit references and extends proper payment terms to creditworthy clients and agencies.
\n\u2022Resolves customer billing discrepancies and assists account managers with reviewing past-due items on aging reports.
\n\u2022Responsible for other duties as assigned by management.
\n\u2022Other duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\u2022Position requires one or more years of collections and billing experience.
\n\u2022Excellent communication skills.
\n\u2022Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word).
\n\u2022This position requires an extremely well organized individual that can handle multitasking and tight deadlines with a high attention to detail.
\n\u2022College degree is preferred.<\/p>\n
