Job Description:
\nWideOrbit is looking for a motivated and experienced QA Specialist for our software package \u2013 WO Media Sales. WO Media Sales is a software solution that allows sales professionals to analyze ratings and intelligently target their approaches for selling time slots to advertisers. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work with our software applications and systems to debug complex software products and provide detailed documentation of defects. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play an integral role as a liaison between product support and engineering, ensuring client requests and issues are met and clearly translated to the development team. Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll be doing:
\n\u2022Partner with product support in identifying software defects.
\n\u2022Hands on testing software (e.g. regression, smoke, feature, system)
\n\u2022Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action to the development team.
\n\u2022Maintain documentation of test results to assist development team in debugging and modifications.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:
\n\u20223+ years of experience of media software or 3+ years of experience in research at a broadcast company OR 3+ years of experience in media buying OR 1+ year of experience in Software QA with an end user application.
\n\u2022Strong technical aptitude with experience in testing software is a plus.
\n\u2022Experience participating in the implementation, administration, or testing of software is preferred.
\n\u2022Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
\n\u2022Excellent documentations skills and attention to detail.
\n\u2022Knowledge of MS Project or Smartsheet is a plus.
\nLocation:
\nThis position will be based in the Birmingham (Hoover) office.<\/p>\n
