WCOV-TV, Montgomery\u2019s FOX Affiliate, is seeking a General Sales Manager. The right candidate for this position will have a minimum of five years of television advertising sales experience. This position is available immediately. The right candidate for this position should have the following:<\/p>\n
\u2022Five years minimum of television advertising sales management experience.
\n\u2022Sales experience in multiple markets.
\n\u2022Microsoft Office proficiency required; working knowledge of WideOrbit traffic system a strong plus.
\n\u2022Experience with a Fox or other independent affiliate a plus.
\n\u2022Effective leadership, motivational, and management skills.
\n\u2022Effective training skills necessary to share knowledge with local sales staff.
\n\u2022A positive attitude and excellent people skills.
\n\u2022Creative abilities that help close sales to the benefit of both client and the station.
\n\u2022Must enjoy working in the field with sales staff and advertisers.
\n\u2022Relocation to Montgomery, Alabama required.<\/p>\n
