JOB SUMMARY: The Promotions Manager’s responsibility is to advance the brand and image of the business through production of daily topicals and image promotions; and will use skills and experience to raise the preference level of the business in both ratings and research.<\/p>\n
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
\n* Work with Marketing Director to achieve station marketing goals.
\n* Inspect layouts and advertising copy and edit scripts, audio and video tapes, and other promotional material for adherence to specifications.
\n* Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers & sales departments.
\n* Gather and organize information to plan advertising campaigns.
\n* Confer with clients to provide marketing or technical advice.
\n* Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of a campaign team to advance campaign goals.
\n* Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised.
\n* Prepare budgets and submit estimates for program costs as part of campaign plan development.
\n* Prepare and negotiate advertising and sales contracts.
\n* Plan and execute advertising policies and strategies for organizations.
\n* Manage community marketing events as assigned.
\n* Assist with annual budget development.<\/p>\n
Specialized Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities: Experience: Training\/Equipment: Computer with editing and graphics software. MS Office to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
