Job Description:
\nWideOrbit is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our dynamic sales software product \u2013 WO Media Sales Radio. In this role, the BA will work closely with the business team and possibly clients directly to understand requirements definition and write detailed specs, as well as business use cases, workflows and perform some QA testing for the product. The BA will also perform the same tasks to achieve successful product integration between WO Media Sales and WO Traffic. As an important project team member, you will be expected to be detail oriented, goal driven and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external resources.<\/p>\n
If you have experience with both WO Media Sales and WO Traffic, understand the concepts of each AND have worked in the software industry, this could be a great fit for you!<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll be doing:
\n\u2022Work on a scrum team in an agile development environment.
\n\u2022Take direction and ownership of the project\u2019s goals and timelines.
\n\u2022Gather and clearly document requirements, business cases, workflows for new product features for WO Media Sales and product integrations specific to WO Media Sales and WO Traffic.
\n\u2022Prepare specification documents for various functional areas \u2013 making business processes into features for software.
\n\u2022Communicate and document requirements for managers, team members and development resources.
\n\u2022Collaborate with development resources on the lifecycle of new features.
\n\u2022Guide multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while effectively managing change of scope or timelines.
\n\u2022Assist QA staff in testing and Documentation team on new or changed features.
\n\u2022Train internal staff on new or changed features.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:
\n\u2022Experience with the radio or television industries with focus on sales, research, and proposals is desired.
\n\u2022Knowledge of systems implementation, integration and software development is preferred.
\n\u20221+ year of experience in technical writing, business analysis, project management, and\/or QA.
\n\u2022Ability to collaborate with clients, internal staff and teams.
\n\u2022Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\u2022Strong analytical and technical skills.
\n\u2022Positive entrepreneurial attitude.<\/p>\n

\nThis position can work in any WideOrbit office.<\/p>\n
