Media Sales Account Executive<\/p>\n
WVTM, the NBC affiliate in Birmingham, AL is looking for an Account Executive. An Account Executive sells advertising to local businesses and negotiates impressions and rates with ad agencies. Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Produce revenue across all available platforms
\nProspect, contact and present to new businesses
\nDevelop new revenue through local business development
\nForm strategic and market partnerships
\nManage an active account\/client list
\nConceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with station strategies
\nAchieve individual sales goals while contributing to WVTM dynamic sales team
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales field
\nExperience with the development of new business\/non-traditional business
\nHave strong negotiation skills
\nExperience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere
\nAccountability within a goal-structured organization
\nMust be a team player
\nExperience selling to business owners
\nUnderstand and use qualitative research to further sales effort
\nRelated military experience will be considered
