WCOV-TV is seeking a Part Time Master Control Operator (MCO). Responsibilities include operation of \u201con air\u201d television equipment and monitoring for quality control. MCO record and playback programs with commercial inserts in a multi-channel, automated broadcast environment. This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about media production and technical excellence.<\/p>\n
Position Summary<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of computers and ability to work with equipment in a complex technical environment. Broadcast experience is a plus but not required.
\n\u2022 Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
\n\u2022 Must be able to troubleshoot \/ problem solve, and work with strict deadlines.
\n\u2022 Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple events simultaneously.
\n\u2022 College degree or technical education is preferred.<\/p>\n
Shift available is on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n
Occasional coverage for shifts other than the shift regularly scheduled may be needed at times.<\/p>\n
