WBRC is seeking a superstar who has experience shooting news, live shots, special projects, and digital content. He\/she will have a can-do attitude and a willingness to help others.<\/p>\n
Duties\/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
– Gather information by maintaining contact with sources, including police and government agencies
\n– Respond urgently to breaking news
\n– Coordinate with the assignment desk and the show producer to communicate updates to the news staff and management
\n– Strong photography and non-linear editing skills
\n– Ability to operate LiveU
\n– Ability to meet deadlines
\n– Must have excellent verbal and written skills
\n– Must be able to work individually, and\/or in a group setting
\n– Should show individual initiative and creativity in photography skills<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/p>\n
– Valid Driver’s License and able to complete the MVR process successfully
\n– Able to shoot and edit stories, work with reporters and the assignment desk in a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
\n– Capable of gathering information and conducting interviews when necessary; conduct online research
\n– Computer literacy required, including ideally the ENPS news system
\n– Must be able to work well under pressure with limited supervision and daily deadlines
\n– Excellent news judgment
\n– Ability to multitask<\/p>\n
