If you\u2019re excited to combine deep technical work with a mission that serves Alabama communities every day, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p>Duties\/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Work with Ross OverDrive, Ross Carbonite, Evertz routing, ENPS, SDI + IP workflows, enterprise networking\/VLANs, digital transmission, and file-based production\/playout systems.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support live and recorded programming across the studio, control room, newsroom, and post-production<br \/>\n\u2022 Troubleshoot and maintain broadcast, IT, RF, and IP-based systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Install\/repair\/upgrade equipment and infrastructure; perform preventative maintenance<br \/>\n\u2022 Support Ross OverDrive automated news production workflows<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain audio\/video routing, editing, storage, record\/playout, and transmission systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Support network infrastructure, security, documentation, and FCC compliance<br \/>\n\u2022 Collaborate across News, Production, Creative Services, Sales, Engineering, and IT<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide on-call support as needed<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5+ years in broadcast engineering, IT, or related technical work (preferred)<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in live TV production environments<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of SDI signal flow, routing, audio distribution\/monitoring<br \/>\n\u2022 Networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, broadcast IT infrastructure)<br \/>\n\u2022 RF\/transmitter experience is a plus<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong communication, organization, and vendor coordination skills<\/p>\n<p>If you feel you\u2019re qualified and want to work with a great group of people, go to https:\/\/gray.tv\/careers#currentopenings.
