WSFA\/WCOV is seeking a Part-Time Technical Media Producer (MCO). This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a technical aptitude who is passionate about media production and technical excellence. The scheduled shift is on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, with occasional coverage for other shifts at various times.<\/p>\n
Duties\/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Operation of “on air” television equipment and monitoring for quality control
\n\u2022 Record and playback programs with commercial insertion in a multi-channel, automated broadcast environment.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of computers and ability to work with equipment in a complex technical environment. Broadcast experience is a plus but not required.
\n\u2022 Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
\n\u2022 Must be able to troubleshoot \/ problem solve and work with strict deadlines.
\n\u2022 Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple events simultaneously.
\n\u2022 College degree or technical education is preferred.<\/p>\n
