JOB SUMMARY: WAFF 48 is looking for a creative, high-energy Lifestyle Producer\/MMJ to produce and shoot content for Tennessee Valley Living, our daily lifestyle show airing Monday through Friday from 3-4 p.m. This person will be the driving force behind the show, responsible for producing a full hour of engaging local content every weekday, while also shooting and editing editorial segments that bring the Tennessee Valley’s people, places, and stories to life. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded storyteller who thrives on deadlines, has a strong eye for lifestyle content, and can seamlessly juggle production duties with field work.<\/p>\n
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n– Produce the daily one-hour lifestyle program, Tennessee Valley Living, airing Monday-Friday from 3-4 p.m.
\n– Write, organize, and structure daily show rundowns and segments.
\n– Research and pitch local lifestyle story ideas and trending topics relevant to the Tennessee Valley.
\n– Collaborate with hosts, producers, and the creative services team to maintain a consistent creative direction and high editorial standard.
\n– Shoot and edit editorial content and packages for the show.
\n– Stay current on local events, trends, and pop culture to keep content fresh and relevant.<\/p>\n

\nRequirments:<\/p>\n
– Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
\n– Prior producing experience required; experience producing a lifestyle, talk, or magazine-style show is a plus.
\n– Strong writing skills for both broadcast and digital platforms.
\n– Proficient in shooting and editing video independently (Adobe Premiere, Edius, or similar).
\n– Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
\n– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with hosts and other production team members.
\n– Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
