Summary
\nThe Digital Account Executive is responsible for selling comprehensive digital media solutions to local\/regional\/national accounts to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. The DAE will be the market\u2019s subject matter expert on digital services and the station\u2019s core digital assets to achieve budgeted revenue goals. The Digital Account Executive will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Alabama\u2019s 42 Core Digital products (Display, Video, Sponsorships, etc.) and the Nexstar Digital suite of digital marketing products (Live Streaming Sports, OTT, Targeted Video & Display, Social Media, SEM, etc.), with the objective of advancing client objectives and achieving client KPI\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Identify and develop new client relationships.
\n\u2022 Meet and exceed sales quota leveraging our growing suite of digital products.
\n\u2022 Manage a client pipeline and revenue utilizing a CRM.
\n\u2022 Create unique and customized digital media plans leveraging the full suite of digital products.
\no Research target market needs and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
\no Ensure clear understanding and interpretation of client needs, and recommend appropriate solutions, in order to meet requirements.
\n\u2022 Willingness to take on additional opportunities as company expands.
\nSpecialized Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities
\n\u2022 Knowledge of digital advertising tools in order to advise advertisers on the effective use of digital advertising investments.
\n\u2022 Understanding of the online space and solution selling.
\n\u2022 Strong oral, problem solving, communication, writing, negotiation and presentation skills.
\n\u2022 Must be well organized, display a professional demeanor, exude high energy and show attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Confident, flexible multi-tasker, and able to work independently.
\n\u2022 MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
\nEducation\/Experience
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.
