\nRequired Skills Responsibilities\/Requirements:
\n\u2022Primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day news operation, news planning, oversee execution of daily newscasts.
\n\u2022Responsible for initiating and managing content delivery on multiple platforms.
\n\u2022Review daily newscasts to ensure quality control and brand compliancy and subsequently provide feedback to all news staff.
\n\u2022Assist in recruiting and hiring for news department personnel.
\n\u2022Collaborate with other managers to develop marketing plans, to establish ratings goals, and to effectively reach said goals.
\nRequired Experience
\n\u2022Must have a working knowledge of journalistic ethics, libel, and privacy laws.
\n\u2022Act as Executive Producer as required.
\n\u2022Supervise staff by providing guidance, training, and evaluations.
\n\u2022Journalism degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in news management with noted leadership skills required.
