The Alabama Radio Network and WERC Seeks part-time State News Anchor in Birmingham.<\/p>\n
ARN and WERC is looking for our next statewide Anchor for the Alabama Radio Network and WERC. The position requires someone who can work some early mornings and\/or late nights up 5 days a week to write and produce network Newscasts for ARN and WERC. While this is a part time job, the shift\u2019s hours are very consistent.<\/p>\n
Desired Skills:<\/p>\n
You must exercise good news-judgment and copy writing ability.
\nYou should remain aware of all state and national News.
\nYou should be social media savvy.
\nYou must be quick with Cool-edit (Adobe Audition) and NexGen.
\nExperience with RCS Newsbuilder is helpful.
\nYou must be able to work independently.
\nYou must be reliable and dependable.
\nFlexible and a positive attitude.<\/p>\n
