Digital Manager – Huntsville, AL<\/p>\n

The Digital Manager directly oversees the daily operations of the station’s digital advertising business and interacts with clients and advertising agencies to maximize digital revenue across all platforms. The Digital Manager also assists in hiring, training and developing Account Executives.<\/p>\n
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develops and executes sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in Digital and new product revenue.
\n\u2022 Calls on clients and prospects with Account Executives.
\n\u2022 Makes direct sales calls in order to drive digital revenue performance.
\n\u2022 Drives new business digital development.
\n\u2022 Oversees the Digital training and development of the Sales team.
\n\u2022 Manages inventory and revenue forecasting.
\n\u2022 Manages recruitment and development of talented sales professionals in collaboration with LSM\/DOS.
\n\u2022 Prepares digital budgets and approves budget expenditures.
\n\u2022 Manages Accounts Receivable for Digital advertising.
\n\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
Requirements & Skills:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
\n\u2022 Fluency in English.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
\n\u2022 Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the Digital field.
\n\u2022 Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
\n\u2022 Experience managing, guiding, directing and motivating subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
\n\u2022 Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
\n\u2022 Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills.
\n\u2022 Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
\n\u2022 IAB certification a plus.<\/p>\n
Physical Demands & Work Environment:<\/p>\n
The Digital Manager must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Additionally, individual must have a vehicle in working condition at their disposal throughout the working day.
