WSFA 12 News has an immediate opening for a part-time News Content Specialist.
\nEducation: College degree required from an accredited College or University,
\nmajoring in Communications or Journalism or be a junior or senior in college on
\ncourse to graduate. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience with television
\nbroadcasting. Working with Panasonic P2 camera equipment, ENPS computer system
\nas well as BitCentral non-linear editing is a plus. Skills\/Abilities: Must be a
\nstrong writer, able to work teleprompter, studio camera, audio, switcher and
\ncontribute to wsfa.com<\/a>, Twitter & facebook. Must work well under pressure and daily deadlines. Must have good creative and editorial\u00a0 judgment and understand journalistic ethics and libel laws. Flexible work hours\u00a0 required, including holidays, weekends, evenings and possible overtime hours.
\nAbility to lift loads up to 50 lbs. License\/Certificates: Must have a clean
\ndriving record and possess a valid driver\u2019s license. Work with producers,
\nreporters, anchors and news team. Responsible for operating various news
\ngathering equipment, including but not limited to, microwave live truck, video
