Full Time Video Content Editor\/Writer<\/p>\n
Brief Job Summary:
\nEdit, and re-edit content for on-air use. Organize and enter data into
\nnews archive files; record material from outside sources. Other assignments to include, but not limited to, writing for air and social media.<\/p>\n
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
\nInclude editing content for News products, both taped, and non-linear sources. Recording and organization of saved archived material. Write and re-write content for all station social media and web outlets, and other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
Required Skills\/Knowledge:
\nA solid understanding of non-linear, timeline editing in a file based; network system experience preferred. Must have time specific organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet specific deadlines.<\/p>\n
The preferred candidate must possess strong communication and writing skills and the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive work environment.<\/p>\n
Regular attendance required. Hours: Variable, including overnights, and weekends. Employee must be flexible, and willing to perform a variety of tasks.<\/p>\n
Required Education\/Training:
\nAssociate Degree or higher preferred. A solid understanding of Windows, and general computer knowledge required.<\/p>\n
