Director\/Technical Media Operator<\/p>\n
Brief Job Summary:
\nResponsibilities will include directing daily newscasts, live teases, promotions, in-studio generated productions and remote telecasts using the Ross Overdrive System.<\/p>\n
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: on-air product as produced, Directing, Master Control Operations, media management, commercial ingest, program recording, satellite receiving, coding automation for play-out to air and studio operations.<\/p>\n
Required Skills\/Knowledge:
\nThe ideal candidate will have the understanding of coding, automation as it interfaces with production switchers, audio, video play-out and Chyron.<\/p>\n
Experience and a solid understanding of non-linear timeline editing in a file- based network system preferred.<\/p>\n
Must have time specific organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet hard deadlines.<\/p>\n
Must possess strong communication skills, plus the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Must be flexible about days\/hours and be willing to perform a variety of tasks.<\/p>\n
Required Education\/Training
\nA Bachelor\u2019s Degree is preferred or relevant work experience. A solid understanding of Windows and general computer knowledge required.
