\nJOB SUMMARY: The Editor integrates visual content and audio material to
\ncreate compelling stories as well as completing daily editing projects for
\nmultiple platforms.<\/p>\n
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
\n* Develop story or content
\nideas, considering reader or audience appeal.
\n* Prepare, rewrite, and edit
\nstories.
\n* Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and producers on video
\nelements of newscasts.
\n* Capture visual content and edit long-form stories
\nand daily newscasts as needed.
\n* Collaborate with reporters to obtain concise
\nand accurate news stories.<\/p>\n
Training\/Equipment: Operate design and multimedia production software, as
\nwell as control board.<\/p>\n
Work Environment\/Mental\/Physical Requirements: Position requires the
\noperation of computer and editing software. High stress environment with
\ndeadline pressures. Must be able to work varied shifts.<\/p>\n
