\nJOB SUMMARY: The commercial producer oversees the creation of a commercial
\nTV spot from inception to broadcast.<\/p>\n
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
\n* Writing creative copy,
\nshooting and editing video.
\n* Define and execute strategic direction for
\ncontent coverage to meet business objectives.
\n* Communicating with sales
\nexecutives and clients taking commercials from concept to final product.
\n*
\nExecute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all digital
\ndevices.
\n* Verify commercials meet certain legal and broadcasting
\nstandards.<\/p>\n
Specialized Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:
\n* Must be able to interact well
\nwith video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production and
\nengineering staff.
\n* Detail oriented.
\n* Excellent verbal, written, and
\nanalytical skills.
\n* Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and
\nunderstanding of viewer needs and expectations.
\n* Proficient in non-linear
\nediting.<\/p>\n
Education\/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, TV\/film or the
\nequivalent. At least 5 years experience in television or radio
\nbroadcast\/production.<\/p>\n
Training\/Equipment: Utilize state-of-the-art television technology.<\/p>\n
Work Environment\/Mental\/Physical Requirements: High stress environment with
\ndeadline pressures. Some travel may be required on an occasional basis.<\/p>\n
