Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Responsible for overseeing
\nwriting, production, and timing of broadcast.
\n\u2022 Define strategic direction
\nfor content coverage to meet business and financial objectives.
\n\u2022 Manage news
\nroom, contribute to the editorial process and make solid decisions in breaking
\nnews situations.
\n\u2022 Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across
\nall media devices.
\n\u2022 Responsible for successful financing and marketing of
\nprojects.<\/p>\n
Specialized Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:
\n\u2022 Must be able to interact well
\nwith video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production and
\nengineering staff.
\n\u2022 Detail oriented.
\n\u2022 Excellent verbal, written, and
\nanalytical skills.
\n\u2022 Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and
\nunderstanding of viewer needs and expectations.
\n\u2022 Financial
\nmanagement.<\/p>\n
Education\/Experience: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Communications, TV\/film or the
\nequivalent. At least 5 years experience in television or radio
\nbroadcast\/production.<\/p>\n
Training\/Equipment: Utilize state-of-the-art television technology.<\/p>\n
Work Environment\/Mental\/Physical Requirements: High stress environment with
\ndeadline pressures. Some travel may be required on an occasional basis.<\/p>\n
