WCOV-TV, Montgomery\u2019s FOX Affiliate, is seeking a General Sales Manager. The right candidate for this position will have strong leadership and broadcast sales management skills in order to lead the sales team to achieve station goals.<\/p>\n
The right candidate for this position should have the following:
\n\u2022Five years minimum of successful television advertising sales management experience with a verifiable history of positive results.
\n\u2022Sales experience in multiple markets.
\n\u2022Inventory management skills.
\n\u2022Microsoft Office and WideOrbit proficiency.
\n\u2022Experience with a Fox or other independent affiliate a plus.
\n\u2022Effective leadership, motivational, and management skills.
\n\u2022Effective training skills necessary to share knowledge with local sales staff.
\n\u2022A positive attitude and excellent people skills.
\n\u2022Creative abilities that help close sales to the benefit of both client and the station.
\n\u2022Must enjoy making calls with sales staff and advertisers.
\n\u2022Relocation to Montgomery, Alabama required.<\/p>\n
