Skills (Essential and Preferred):
\nCandidate should have a Bachelor\u2019s Level Degree in Communications or Journalism.<\/p>\n
– The candidate must be detail-oriented.
\n– Have a solid background in digital TV, newspaper or radio news with experience covering
\nbreaking news.
\n– Have a strong understanding of AP style writing.
\n– Understand web and mobile technologies.
\n– Able to develop and implement strategic plans for web and mobile growth.
\n– Must be proficient on Facebook and Twitter.
\n– Have a strong understanding of social media strategy with a desire to stay on top of
\nthe latest trends.
\n– Able to write \u201cclickable\u201d headlines.
\n– Understand SEO.
\n– Be a team player.
\n– Willing to work nights and\/or weekends and holidays as needed.
\n– Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, ENPS or comparable newsroom computer system
\nand Edius or comparable video editing system is a plus.<\/p>\n
