The Alabama Broadcasters Association celebrated their 18th Annual “Alabama’s Best in Broadcasting”, or ABBY Awards, Saturday, April 6th at The Club in Birmingham, Alabama. Over 300 radio and television broadcasters represented stations from across the state as colleagues and competitors collected statues. WALJ-FM of Tuscaloosa was named “Radio Station of the Year” for the second year in a row. The station is owned by Townsquare Media. Gray Television’s WAFF-TV of Huntsville was named “Television Station of the Year.”
