TVB on Friday:
We’ll touch on all the fraudulent activity going on in the digital space and how major advertisers like PNG will no longer give it a free pass. He will also talk about strategies to get larger shares of digital business in combination with on air assets.
TVB on Saturday:
We’ll review TVB resources like their AE Dashboard and best practices as it relates to business development. He will also review data reinforcing that people still watch more local TV than anything else today and how influential the medium is over the consumer. In addition, he will talk about how all the big manufacturers invest in broadcast television and give you a look at what people are actually watching when they turn on their TV, tablet or mobile device.
Brian Wexler’s career spans 26 years, beginning in sales and marketing for WJW-TV in Cleveland OH. He is a seasoned veteran in broadcast and digital sales, having worked as local, regional and national sales managers for a number of television stations owned by leading broadcast groups, including TEGNA, CBS Television and FOX Television.
In his TVB role, Wexler is responsible for working with member stations to create category-specific presentations to further establish local broadcast television as the leading medium for advertisers and agencies. He also works closely with station account executives in his region providing training via webinars, webcasts and in-person meetings.
Achieving numerous sales awards throughout his career, Brian was nominated for Tegna’s Sales Executive of the Year 9 times and was an inaugural President’s Circle recipient.
