As RadioAlabama’s Executive Vice President, Managing Editor, and Director of Business and Digital Strategy, Michael Brannon serves in several roles working with the sales team on key accounts and with the newsroom creating hyper-local content along with hosting a daily morning show. He is the executive producer for all sports coverage in RadioAlabama’s family of six stations.

Brannon attended Spring Hill College and then, the University of South Alabama where he received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
and served as the Jag’s radio network announcer for South Alabama’s Division 1 athletic programs and as the public address announcer for South Alabama football.

He has been the UMinute host on NBC affiliate NBC15 (WPMI) and its sister station UTV44 (WJTC), a local entertainment show called The Blend, for UTV44, weekday morning social media reporter for NBC15 Today and co-anchor, reporter and Sports Director at FOX10 (WALA).
