Experience:
3 years minimum television hosting or reporting experience. Operate newsroom computer systems. High stress environment with deadline pressures.
Requirements:
• Prepare and/or assemble, and present story content in a fair, accurate and unbiased manner. • Collaborate with news producers and managers to conceptualize, produce and present news specials and packages based on either breaking or pre-planned stories. • Develop and maintain a network of news sources providing access to exclusive local stories. • Perform on-air anchor responsibilities for designated newscast or programs across multiple platforms. • Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation. • Strong reporting skills. • Understand importance of social media. • Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar and organizational skills. • Promotes teamwork and maintains attitude of cooperation with all station personnel
Additional Information:
Position may require work on weekends and holidays.
