Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a motivated and experienced support specialist for our WO Traffic software. The WO Traffic Support Specialist must have a proven track-record in traffic for the broadcast industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be eager to learn and grow with a fast-paced team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
•Help users with how-to questions regarding use of WO Traffic.
•Identify and document software defects and requests for enhancements
•Provide information regarding customer needs to engineering and marketing
•Work with team to develop product support infrastructure

Here’s what we’re looking for:
•2+ years of experience in a traffic role in a TV, Radio or cable station is strongly preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, especially over the telephone
•Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software.

•The ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment

Job Description:
WO Traffic is an all-in-one software solution that manages broadcast rights, financials, program inventories and schedules. WideOrbit is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to join the WO Traffic product team as an Implementation Specialist. The broadcasting world moves quickly and when a station wants to implement our products, it needs someone that can help the station get organized, install the new system, and train the staff on how to use it leaving the station in better shape than when they arrived. They work with other members of the team to develop a thorough understanding of the clients specific business objectives. The Implementation Specialists then creates and executes a project plan that achieves these objectives. WideOrbit’s success is highly dependent on the Implementation Specialist’s success at the client site.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
•Travel to our clients’ sites nationally and oversee all aspects of the implementation process including installation and training new users.
•Conduct web based training sessions.
•Troubleshoot configuration issues and recommend action plans for resolution or customization.
•Be able to effectively communicate to a technical or non-technical audience.
•Work with all stakeholders including customers, industry groups, and internal departments such as development, product management, and release management.
•Identify and document software defects and requests for enhancements.
•Work with a team to develop product support infrastructure.
•Assist as needed with special projects.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

•2+ years of experience in a traffic role in a TV station or experience working for a broadcasting software competitor IS A MUST.
•Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% travel will be required.
•Working knowledge of broadcasting station workflows and equipment.
•Strong computer skills primarily with Windows Operating Systems, networking and hardware.
•Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred.
•Must have excellent presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
•Broadband access from home (WideOrbit reimbursed).

Location:
This position will require the candidate to be on site at our clients’ locations a majority of the time. When the Implementation Specialist is not traveling, she/he can based in one of our local offices or telecommute.
