WEAR/WFGX is seeking an aggressive, energetic, and digitally savvy content producer. The right person must will help drive our content and message across social media platforms. This position is full-time and will require working a flexible schedule that includes nights and holidays.

Experience:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Maintaining our social media account
•Strong writing skills
•Ability to work closely with viewers in a professional manner
•Preparing story items for presentation in the newscasts
•Assisting in the efficient operation of the assignment desk
Requirements:
Required skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

•Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
•Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter and emerging social media
•Must have strong communication and written skills
•Minimum of one (1) year of assignment desk experience
•Commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy
•General knowledge and interest in local, national and world news
