There are a number of events coming up that engineers should take note of.
The ABA Engineering Academy will be conducting the Radio Engineering Class July 14th – 18th. The Television Engineering Class will be held September 8th – 12th.
These classes are offered by the ABA Engineering Academy at no cost and are held at the ABA Training Center in Hoover.
If you are involved with audio mixing at your station or church, Presonus will be offering a free road show twice in July. On Wednesday July 23rd they will be at Bailey Brothers Music 4673 Highway 280 East Birmingham and Thursday July 24th it will be at Eat My Beats 4755 Jug Factory Road Tuscaloosa.
The ABA will hold its annual convention Friday and Saturday August 15th and 16th. On Saturday the ABA Engineering Academy will host an “Engineering Seminar” covering the topic “Audio and Video over IP”. Four great presentations will be offered by Comrex, Wheatstone, TVU Networks and Gates Air. Registration for the seminar is only $30.00 which includes lunch.
There will also be a large engineering exhibit hall with plenty of vendors. This will be held at the Hyatt Regency/Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover.
