WSFA 12 News, Montgomery, Alabama is looking for a Reporter (MMJ)/Anchor. Candidates must be energetic, driven, have solid news judgment, have strong reporting and live skills. Candidates must be able to tell difficult stories, an investigative edge is preferred. He or she must be a leader in the newsroom and excel at breaking news coverage from the studio and in the field. Must also be aggressive and consistent with coverage online and with social media and all platforms. He or she must be skilled to shoot/edit their own stories, and must be able to deliver content on all platforms, on-line, Twitter, facebook, on-air and on mobile. Candidate must have at least 3-years experience as well as regular anchoring experience. Exact anchor shift will be explained to selected candidates. If you do not embrace new technology, understand social media or cannot shoot and edit, there is no need to apply.
