We’re seeking candidates with at least two years of public radio experience, including anchoring, writing, and reporting. APR was recently honored with RTDNA’s national Unity award for a year-long series on the fight for civil rights in Alabama. APR also received the national Edward R. Murrow award for overall excellence, alongside NBC network and CBS Radio. In addition, the team won back-to-back Sigma Delta Chi awards, and was named “Most Outstanding News Organization” by the AP three years running. APR is housed inside the University of Alabama’s $17 million dollar state-of-the-art digital media center.
