WAAY-TV has an immediate opening for a Digital Sales Manager.

WAAY-TV, ABC 31 is a multimedia broadcast station that delivers relevant news and information along with top rated entertainment programs to Huntsville and the surrounding Tennessee Valley communities. The station’s mission is to use the power of its television and digital platforms to deliver news and information that helps the area thrive. WAAY – TV is located in Huntsville, AL on Monte Sano Boulevard and operates a news bureau in Florence, AL.

Primary Responsibilities

Looking for a leader that will maximize & manage digital advertising opportunities and other emerging cross-platform sales efforts for station websites and mobile products, audience extension programs, social, and digital services. This position will be responsible for integrating interactive/mobile/social efforts into the overall local, regional and national sales structure. Will be responsible for hiring, training and motivating a dedicated digital sales team to meet or exceed company goals. Minimum of 2 years broadcast and/or digital sales experience a must.

Coordination
Works closely with General Sales Manager and all other Sales and Digital staff.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent.
2 years’ experience in Broadcast or Digital Sales or similar position.
A valid Alabama drivers’ license and good driving record.
Bilingual a plus.
