WPMI is seeking a Production Assistant. You will be in charge of web and social media posting in the evenings. This person will create, write, and post accurate, compelling, and engaging content for Local15tv.com and our social media sites. Prep for newscasts including but not limited to :
•Run scripts to anchors/directors
•Operate studio cameras during live broadcasts
•Operate teleprompter during live broadcasts
•Assit with assignment desk duties
•Edit video for the newscasts as needed
•Other duties as assigned

Experience:
Education and/or internship in television or related field preferred. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
Knowledge of news writing and AP Style are a must. Knowledge of social media best practices preferred.
Additional Information:
General Hours are Monday – Friday 2:30-11:30pm ( subject to change ). Must be available to work weekends and other hours as needed, on occasion.
