Meteorologist

WKRN-TV, Media General’s ABC Affiliate in Nashville, TN, has a career opportunity for an experienced Meteorologist.

Skills (Essential and Preferred):
WKRN-TV is seeking a Meteorologist with outstanding weather forecasting and storm tracking skills combined with the ability to forecast in high pressure situations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in social media. A Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism or equivalent work experience in a newsroom is preferred.

Experience (Essential and Preferred):
Seven years of experience as a television Meteorologist preferred.

Job Skills:
Preparation and presentation of weather-related television programs including, but not limited to, responsibilities for reporting, writing and editing as assigned.
