The Executive Producer of Digital Content will be in charge of making sure our site is the most up to date, informative and engaging experience in the Northwest Florida market. This position will manage our social media efforts, including our Facebook and Twitter sites. This person will also develop specialized web content pages for our website and social media sites. This position will also coordinate all digital efforts with our sales and promotions departments.

Experience:
•Coordinate social media content produced on behalf of WEARtv.com.
•Manage and implement online and mobile content for News.
•Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, assist in budget preparation, staff hiring, scheduling, training, and development

Requirements:
•Significant background in media content development and marketing, preferably in television or online, strong creative, verbal, and writing skills.
•Minimum two years’ experience including understanding of Internet technology, website development and marketing, major industry and local players, key factors driving the industry and applications for media companies and advertisers.
•Must be able to work on short timeline projects and perform under tight deadlines.
•Experience in content management systems.
•Working knowledge of social network platforms, their associated metrics platforms and Google Analytics.
•Ability to thrive in an environment of constant change, uncertainty, and complexity.
•Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals within and outside the company; ability to envision and negotiate alliances, joint ventures and partnerships.
•The position also requires brainstorming and coordinating our multi-platform approach for breaking news, special events coverage and station initiatives.
•This person will supervise our digital content team.
•Previous experience in a TV broadcast operation a plus.
•Irregular hours will be required periodically

•Maintain spot database in good and consistent order
•Experience with Wide Orbit and FTP software preferred
•Assist Traffic Department with preparation of log, order entry, format entry, clearing of inventory and other responsibilities as needed

•One year data computer entry required
•Able to work with speed and accuracy in conjunction with an eye for detail
•Able to prioritize
•Flexible and able to work independently
