Position Description – Business Development Specialist:

Metro Monitor would like to add a detail oriented and confident communicator to our Business Development / Client Service team. This position provides the opportunity to work with public relations and corporate communications professionals from all industries in markets throughout the United States. Responsibilities include: taking care of clients placing orders via inbound phone calls and emails; reaching out to prospective clients via email and phone calls to introduce them to the services we provide; leading web based product demonstrations; creating and submitting client proposals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or Communications

Sales experience and/or sales certification

Ability to reach out to new prospects and win new business to achieve sales targets

Proficient in the use of all office software such as Microsoft Office and web based Customer Relationship Management applications

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Proven experience in client service or sales

Ability to work within a team environment to provide superior client service and win new business
