WKRN-TV, Media General’s ABC Affiliate in Nashville, TN, is seeking experienced and entry level Multi-Media Content Producer/Editors. This position will produce content for high-traffic media websites, mobile applications and social media to include text, video and photos as well as curates the placement of content on multiple platforms while growing audience.

Skills (Essential and preferred): Produce, edit, and curate high-engagement content for multiple media platforms. Work closely with other team members, reporters, photographers, producers, marketing reps, and others to develop and publish content across our network of websites, mobile and social media platforms using industry best practices and internal strategies.

Experience (Essential and Preferred): 3-5 years of experience working in a digital, print, or broadcast news organization; or a recent college graduate with a degree in journalism or related field; well-versed in concepts like AP style, Basic HTML, SEO, User Experience, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of web content management systems, social media platforms, photo and video editing. Skills (Essential and Preferred):
Operate broadcast news camera, edit news stories using Edius and operate ENG plus SNG trucks. Must know how to operate broadband transmission equipment (TVU). Knowledge of Panasonic and JVC ENG cameras is a plus. Must know how to tell strong, creative stories with video and sound. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong, solid news judgment, work well under pressure with particular attention to detail. A good attitude and the skill of working well with others is a must.

Experience (Essential and Preferred):
A college degree is preferred or equivalent experience in a newsroom. The ideal candidate should be proficient in digital media. Three years of experience in News Photography preferred, along with excellent communication skills plus a working knowledge of current News events.
