Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
•Receiving and enter advertising copy information and running instructions
•Make sure proper instructions and commercials are in the station in a timely manner
•Maintain spot database in good and consistent order
•Experience with Wide Orbit and FTP software preferred
•Assist Traffic Department with preparation of log, order entry, format entry, clearing of inventory and other responsibilities as needed

The ideal candidate will be dependable, well organized, self-starter and possess the following skills:
•One year data computer entry required
•Able to work with speed and accuracy in conjunction with an eye for detail
•Able to prioritize
•Flexible and able to work independently
•Communicate well and articulately with co-workers and clients outside of the station

Posting Job Summary: This position is responsible for the The Flor-Ala student newspaper and the Diorama yearbook which involves serving as the advisor to the editorial staffs, business staff, photography staff, production staff, business team, and volunteer staff members of the student publications.

Must be able to work flexible hours and work well in a high stress environment. The Chief Meteorologist is expected to be a leader at the station and in WAAY’s 11 county DMA.
