Digital Content Producer – WBRC is seeking a digital content producer for MyFoxAL.com. The ideal candidate is a creative, enthusiastic and solution-oriented journalist able to handle breaking news. Qualities desired: A journalism background with excellent web writing skills and proficiency in AP style, strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a solid grasp of basic computer skills. Candidates must also be able to creatively communicate with viewers/users on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram. An interest in learning and experimenting with new social media platforms is a plus. Must be self-directing, self-motivating and able to work well with a diverse group of people in a newsroom environment. Must be able to work nights, weekends, extra hours, holidays, etc. HTML, Photoshop, digital video editing, and WorldNow Producer content management system experience helpful.
