WKRG News 5, a dominant Media General owned CBS affiliate in Mobile/Pensacola, market 59, has an opening for the position of Digital Journalist. We are looking for an aggressive self-starter. Candidates for this position will have strong, writing skills, an ability to operate digital video and still cameras and the associated editing equipment and software. Successful candidates must have strong reporting skills and people skills necessary for the development of relationships and unique local stories. Since Digital Journalists often work alone and unsupervised, time management and organizational skills are critical to a candidate’s success. Online resume ‘reel’ required. Must have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
