WSFA 12 News, Raycom Media station in Montgomery, AL, is seeking a Director. The applicant should have knowledge of: directing, technical directing, studio operations (studio camera/teleprompter), news graphic production, lighting and the ability to do certain web related tasks that are directly associated with the job. The applicant should have at least a year experience in directing. Some allowances for educational background may be taken into consideration if the applicant does not have “practical experience” with directing. WSFA will train the applicant on the Kahuna HD switcher and any outstanding procedures that are necessary for the job. The applicant would join our team in sharing the duties of directing as well as technical preparation of newscasts.
