WKRG News 5, a dominant Media General owned CBS affiliate in Mobile/Pensacola, market 59, is looking for an experienced part-time Director. The position is responsible for the visual execution of our live weekend morning newscasts. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, have an understanding of coding automation as it interfaces with switchers, audio, video play out and graphics. At least one year work experience with live production is preferred. Candidates should have good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, strong communication skills, and work well in a team atmosphere. Experience with Grass Valley Ignite or comparable systems is a plus.
