ABA Engineering Academy offers Advanced Radio Broadcast Engineering Seminar
Broadcast engineers have only one responsibility at their station….(pause till laughter fades).
That responsibility is to take the product that is presented to them by the programming department and deliver it to the station’s customers (listeners) with the minimum of degradation possible, and maybe along the way improve it somewhat. Sometimes that can be a rather daunting task, but modern day broadcast equipment is making is easier to accomplish.
The ABA Engineering Academy is hosting a special two day seminar which will offer an in depth review of the technology used in today’s radio broadcast operations. We will look under the hood of digital audio, processors, digital audio workstations, automation systems, AM antenna systems and modern day solid state transmitters.
Several guest presenters will be on hand to fill in the gaps on these items including Stu Graham a well know technical consultant with GrahamBrock Inc, Jeff Welton Nautel who has over 16 years as a Nautel Customer Service Technician.
This two day seminar is offered at no charge and will be held at the ABA Training Center in Hoover AL on Monday and Tuesday March 9th & 10th.
ONLINE REGISTRATION
Attendees will also be able to take the SBE Certified Broadcast Radio Engineer (CBRE) exam at the end of the class. There is a charge for the exam. Taking the exam is not required to attend the seminar.
With technology changing at such a rapid rate radio engineers are encourage not to miss out on this excellent opportunity to continue their education in the broadcast engineering field.
Special note to television engineers…we have an advanced television seminar scheduled for April 6th and 7th.
