WEAR-TV in Pensacola, Florida is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Evening News Anchor. The ideal candidate will be a newsroom leader, one who is comfortable and confident under pressure, someone who can field anchor or put together special reports as needed, someone with a positive attitude – with a goal of working with the news team. This person will primarily lead our afternoon and evening newscasts, but will cover other shifts as assigned.

Required Skills
•College degree and at least three years experience anchoring.
•A real passion for covering local news is a must.
•Excellent active live shot experience.
•Excellent ethical decision making.
•Ability to write with immediacy and connectivity.
•Ability to connect with the community on-air and online.
•Participate in community events throughout the DMA.
•Other duties as assigned by the News Director.
