The Alabama News Network made up of CBS8, ABC Montgomery, CW Montgomery, MeTV and Heartland produces 30 hours of Local News a week. We have an opening for an Executive Producer. This position will over-see each newscast for Alabama News Network and help lead us into the next level in our 6 million dollar state of the art News facility. This position requires working closely with each producer and other news managers. The candidate will be able to maintain editorial control by supervising each producer on a daily basis. The candidate will be able to produce by filling in when needed. Other responsibilities include producing special projects, scheduling producers and taking part in editorial meetings. Strong leadership skills are a must. Candidate must have at least three years experience of producing a daily newscast. A College Degree in Broadcast Journalism preferred.
