I have over eight years of experience in broadcast and multimedia production working on live productions for both radio and television. I have worked as on-air talent and as a board operator. I have interviewed local and national talent for radio and television programs, ran camera for live television and have done some post production work voicing and editing video packages. I have knowledge of FCC rules.

EMPLOYMENT
2013- Current Banfield Pet Hospital Customer Service Coordinator
Duties include recruiting new clients by promoting hospital services and controlling the flow of clients to ensure client care and to raise productivity of the veterinary medical team; maximizing the number of pets seen by the hospital staff, welcoming clients and pets to the hospital and educating them about optimum wellness plans, preventative care and hospital services; assisting new clients and creating new client files; assisting outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian’s instructions; selling retail products; scheduling future appointments; and, answering phones on multiple lines.
2007-2012 89.7 FM KACC Production Assistant, On-Air Personality
Duties included on-air production of a radio show: writing copy and producing a pre-recorded show for a shift over weekends and a live radio show several times a week; recording news breaks, spots and Public Service Announcements for broadcast; maintaining transmitter levels and station logs; and, Emergency Alert System operation and maintenance.
2007- 2012 ACC Video Production Department Videographer
Duties included shooting video for local community events such as local city council meetings and events held at Alvin Community College, including graduation commencement ceremonies. Minimal editing and time coding were also a part of this position.

2009-2012 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Video Production Assistant
Duties included setting up audio visual stations throughout the grounds and maintaining those stations throughout the season. In addition, I ran camera for Closed Circuit Television for events in various arenas during the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo, including horse shows, cattle shows, the wine auction and the steer auction. Other duties included script writing, recording and producing in house interview packets for a daily in-house news production called Stampede TV. I also shot video of participants in the mutton busting competitions and made copies of the races that were, in turn, made available for purchase through the Mutton Busting Committee. I worked four consecutive seasons.
2005-2006 98.9 FM KWJZ Sandusky Radio Board Operator
Duties included checking tracks before their scheduled air time to ensure proper order and to make sure the commercials airing were within their flight dates; checking the music log and adding preselected music to the rotation as needed to fill the shift; answering phones for call-in contests and filling out promotion department paper work for contests; keeping accurate transmitter logs; answering emails sent to the station; reporting any transmitter interference or technical issues to the engineering department; and, monitoring the Emergency Alert System and airing the appropriate station ID’s before and after the alerts were broadcast.
2001 to 2004 90.1 FM KPFT Pacifica Foundation Board Operator, On-Air Talent
Duties included writing and producing a weekly program showcasing local talent and featuring their music on the air while interviewing the artists; airing local public service announcements; switching the transmission of the station to a live feed for news programs from other Pacifica stations; answering phones and station emails; assisting with pledge drives and live remote broadcasts; and, appearing as talent and promoting remote events on air.
