WCOV-TV, Montgomery’s FOX Affiliate, is seeking a General Sales Manager. The right candidate for this position will have strong leadership and broadcast sales management skills in order to lead the sales team to achieve station goals.

The right candidate for this position should have the following:
•Five years minimum of successful television advertising sales management experience with a verifiable history of positive results.
•Sales experience in multiple markets.
•Inventory management skills.
•Microsoft Office and WideOrbit proficiency.
•Experience with a Fox or other independent affiliate a plus.
•Effective leadership, motivational, and management skills.
•Effective training skills necessary to share knowledge with local sales staff.
•A positive attitude and excellent people skills.
•Creative abilities that help close sales to the benefit of both client and the station.
•Must enjoy making calls with sales staff and advertisers.
•Relocation to Montgomery, Alabama required.
